No More Scams! No More Searching For Channels! The 2008 Satellite TV for PC Elite Personifies How Internet TV Should Be Viewed And Enjoyed, In A Scam-free Risk-Free Environment!
By now you’re probably wondering what's up with the Satellite TV for PC 2008 Elite Edition and need some answers. And that’s exactly what we intend to give you. After downloading and testing the software, we can honestly say the answers to these questions are either yes and no--depending on how you see things. No PC Satellite TV software is 100% flawless but the top products can deliver on most of their promises.First, you have to understand this isn’t Satellite or Cable TV programming you are getting. No legal software such as these will decode or descramble signals, paid TV programs, and in fact has nothing to do with air signals whatsoever. So why do many of these products add the term Satellite TV? Call it Internet TV signals Worldwide or a marketing ploy to peek everyone’s curiosity Worldwide. Whatever the case may be it certain makes a good conversation piece which can be quite controversial also.
That said, here’s what we can tell you. Since the Satellite TV for PC Elite, Pro, and Titanium are basically the same, we only downloaded and tested the Elite. All of these editions have the same benefits and features, with exception to the number channels and prices. Its just so happens that the Elite is the most popular and has sold more than the other editions. Therefore, you will get information based on the Elite software.
We can tell now to forget the pass. Meaning forget the controversy, negative media, scam terminologies, including the good, the bad, and the ugly. This is the new revised 2008 Satellite TV for PC Editions, so when researching this product it’s best to look at the 2008 rather than 2006 and 2007. These editions appeared on the market during 2005 by SatelliteSoftware who is the exclusive distributor of the software.
Our 2007 version of the Elite was a good software and for the most part worked well for us. But with the free 2008 upgrade that we received gave indications to a whole new generation of PC Satellite TV software that continue to get better. This newly revamped software or TV player which is actually the software, has a sleeker look and feel that draws you into it’s very appealing look. Hi-tech at best, the TV player is extremely user-friendly by giving you an easy interface and navigations that’s simply childsplay. In other words, no instructions needed.
We found the new version quite intriguing as it seem to load and play channels faster (within 20 seconds). Less bad channels links and more quality channels in their own alphabetical directory for easy access. When using either a wireless or broadband connection the audio and video played superbly with excellent quality. However, the wireless couldn’t play some of the channels with larger bandwidths. It’s best to have either DSL or High Speed Internet connection at 512kbps or higher for the best overall quality.
Here’s what makes the 2008 Satellite TV for PC Elite safe and legal to access 1000s of Internet TV and radio channels. First, there’s no downloading video media such as movies and music videos included in the main package. You will be given many other links to channels outside the package. We haven’t tested any of these links to see if they included other downloads. The Elite TV player accesses, retrieves, and streams channels that comes from licensed Internet media owners. They offer their channels free of charge to everyone Worldwide and that‘s what makes this entire process safe and legal.
But the downside to this is users will experience some channel downtimes in different time zones. Not all the channels, just some of them will be down temporarily. Remember, these channels are provided free of charge by licensed Internet media owners Worldwide. The good news is there will be 1000s of other channels and entertainment to occupy your interest. Other than that, everything else is find.
Since the software was designed to appeal to everyone. There will be many channels you’ll never use such as religious, foreign, and other channels. But there are enough English and non-English channels for you. We think the 2008 Satellite TV for PC Elite Edition was solely designed for the wide variety TV enthusiast. Whereas users can watch TV shows, movies in many different genres, all types of sports, Worldwide news, listen to radio, music, and much more. And this includes watching/listening to channels from 78 countries, virtually in any language.
So question is can you watch Pro and NCAA football games, including basketball, baseball, tennis, NASCAR racing, and many other sports. The answer is a definite yes and you can enjoy them all across the globe. We liked having access to sports and movie channels that we can take while on the go. If you have a laptop, you can take full advantage of the software. Not only did we received more TV savings, but we also liked having more TV freedom, flexibility and mobility.
You watch all of this entertainment from any location at home, work, college, while traveling Locally, Nationally or Internationally. Just use a wifi or broadband card/USB and you’re good to go. The Elite Editions also works on your home TV set. So if you preferred watching all of this free entertainment on your big screen TV, just use an s-video card, TV-Out video card, or PCTV card with a cox cable.
Bad news is users may experience in rare cases a software-to-computer compatibility problems, causing the Elite software not to work initially. You have to understand that no one computer is the same as another. And there are other software installed on a computer that could prohibit the Elite from working once downloaded. For instance when we first downloaded the software, it wouldn’t work for us. We contacted the merchant and within 24 hours received an email telling us it be a firewall.
We received a link that took us to instructions on how to give our McAfee anti-virus (firewall) permission to allow the Elite software to install completely. After that, everything worked find.
Some users have a habit of saying these types of PC Satellite TV software products are scams, because a software wouldn’t work once downloaded to their computers, channels wouldn’t play, or the merchant wouldn’t give back a refund. And, thus, the term scam is swept across the Internet and stays there permanently. This is true whether a software improves or not. We can certainly say the 2008 Satellite TV for PC Elite Edition has improved immensely, and has eliminated passed issues.
So if you are OK with everything so far, then as testers and users of the Elite, we recommend the software to variety TV enthusiasts only. To learn more about this software and where to download it, go to 2008 Satellite TV for PC Elite.
