While many of the channels played within 20 seconds, some of them didn’t which is to expected with Internet TV and software.

Some of the pitfalls common to all of these products are some channel links may end up broken, channels come and go and have channel downtimes which in many cases are not the software’s fault but related to Internet media providers who offer free channels. What SatelliteSoft has done which resolves some of these issues is included the “Scan for Available Channels feature that instantly allows the user to renew channels that are currently available for viewing. Many of the other PC Satellite TV software products today don’t offer this feature or for that fact have as many feature enhancements. However, there is something else that may be considered another pitfall.

The 2009 Professional, Elite, and Titanium Editions offer thousands of channels in its TV player which many of them will be of no interest to the user. There are channels from 78+ Countries both in English and non-English, including many live, recorded, and old shows. One would have to be a wide variety TV enthusiasts as there will be all kinds of channels to explore.

There is no channel listing or guide available but once a favorite channel is found the “Favorites” and ”Record” commands come quite in handy. But the best of Internet TV entertainment really comes from the all-in-one member’s area where additional links to 1000s of other FREE channels and websites are found. When searching for popular (old, recent or current) live and recorded TV shows, favorite episodes such as CSI, Bones, 24, Star Trek, any sporting event, etc., there are 100s of live channels and climbing, including 1000s of on-demand channels for ones delight.

Although broadband Internet has its pitfall, watching Internet channels can be either good or excellent depending on the DSL or High Speed Internet connection. In other words, higher the connection speed--better the overall video quality and performance. However be aware, that there may be times when sending an email to the merchant will take up to 48 hours (weekends not included) before responding back.
